Assure Scratch & Dent: from 600 leads per month to automated conversion

How a mobile car damage repair company in Australia and the US tripled their conversion rate and saved 10 hours per week with AI automation.

3x higher conversion rate
200 of 600 leads converted instantly
10+ hours per week saved on sales

The challenge

Assure Scratch & Dent is a mobile car damage repair company operating in Australia and the United States. The team, led by Jake Mathews and Benn Woollett, had a problem that many fast-growing service businesses struggle with: too many leads, too little time to follow up on all of them.

Every month, 600 leads came in. That sounds like a luxury problem, but in practice it meant the sales team was constantly playing catch-up. Leads sat untouched for too long. Potential customers dropped off before anyone could call them. And the team spent the bulk of their work week manually sorting, calling and following up instead of doing the actual work.

The problem was not the quality of the leads. The problem was capacity. With 600 incoming requests per month, it was simply not possible to personally follow up on every lead within an acceptable timeframe.

The approach

For Assure Scratch & Dent, we built a system that does three things:

AI Lead Scoring. Every incoming lead is automatically assessed based on urgency, location, type of damage and historical conversion data. Leads that are likely to convert receive a high score and are routed directly to the team. Leads that need more nurturing enter an automated follow-up flow.

Automated follow-up. Instead of manually sending each lead a first message, the system does it automatically. Within minutes of a request coming in, the lead receives a personalized reply. Not a generic template, but a message that takes into account the type of damage, the location and the urgency.

CRM enrichment. The system automatically enriches every lead with additional data: vehicle information, contact details, previous interactions. The sales team no longer has to search for it themselves. When they open a lead in the CRM, everything is already there.

The core of this system is that it brings the right leads to the right person at the right moment, without anyone having to work on it manually.

The results

The impact was immediately measurable.

"Earlybeurt tripled our conversion rate and saved us more than 10 hours of sales effort every week." - Jake Mathews

The conversion rate tripled. That is not a minor improvement, that is the difference between a business that grows and a business that stands still. The reason is simple: leads that are picked up quickly convert better. By bringing the response time down from hours (or days) to minutes, a large part of the loss disappeared.

"We instantly converted 200 of our 600 leads coming in each month." - Benn Woollett

200 of the 600 monthly leads were converted instantly. That means a third of all incoming leads were turned into customers without manual intervention from the sales team. The system handled the first contact, the qualification and the scheduling automatically.

And the team saved more than 10 hours per week on sales work. That is 10 hours they could spend on actually carrying out repair work, on improving their service, on expanding their operation.

What this means

The story of Assure Scratch & Dent is a good example of what happens when you apply AI automation in the right place. It is not about replacing people. It is about removing the work that people cannot do fast enough.

Following up on 600 leads per month is not a human task. It is a system task. And once you set it up as a system, the results become visible: higher conversion, fewer lost leads, more time for the work that truly matters.

For service businesses that grow fast, this is the difference between scaling with more staff or scaling with better systems. Assure Scratch & Dent chose the latter, and the numbers speak for themselves.
